Omair, I remember you being all over Leprous. Last two offerings haven't been pleasurable, I see.

This is certainly not what I was expecting, but I dig.

This is starting to click more and more. Really great effort, very different but I figure it was time that they started doing something different. Thought Coal was a step back from Bilateral and both The Congregation and Malina did little for me. The quality was always there mind you, but I guess I felt a little burnt out with their sound.

This being my first Leprous album seems to be a blessing. I thought it would be heavier but had no idea it was a drastic departure from their earlier stuff...or that there was earlier stuff for that matter. Loving it atm though.

I'd say give Bilaterial certainly a spin though! Their best by far for me.

I think Malina is my second fave right now. Then either Bilateral or The Congregation. Coals is dope too. Struggling most with Tall Poppy.

@bloc The only thing legitimizing the comparison is it's the same band, though

True that, they got sawft on this

@Myth yooo, yeah the last two albums haven't piqued my interest as much, though I've probably listened to this more than Malina

Tall Poppy is very good at mimicking Opeth and while I'm impressed, I'm also bored. The streak of Bilateral to Malina is a defining era and now Pitfalls is a re-imagining.
