I still rock FXMLDR regularly but there's not many other songs that call me back once the album is over. Need to give it another start-to-finish spin before I decide to change my rating, though.

Finally jammed this in full.
It was a slog.
I mean, it's really good, as musicians, these people are insanely deft, but there's so much uncut fat.
And I can't really shake off the Coheed and Cambria feels all over this. But still, great moments here and there and good enough to jam 1 or 2 tracks when the mood is right.

Album's length is what I enjoy the most about it, because I basically like every song in here.

I still have to listen to this, however I'm almost entirely sure it will blow me away. Thank You Scientist seems to always deliver the goods.

Their first album didn't have too many awesome hooks but the instrumentation was there.
These last two albums have been all about hooks, less instrumental explosion.
The songs are drawn out but not nearly as intrepid as those on the debut.

I love that they wank without losing sight of writing actual melodies and songs. My kind of glorified fluff.

I was more a fan of the guitar work than the actual songs. But I added this to my gym shuffle and it's been quite nice
