LtL yes. UMOK, I wouldn't be too sure.

So, who on the site knows the most about AiC?

Someone should host an alt-rock tourney, would be sweet. I think Hans would be perfect for that.

Alt rock is pretty broad though.

Pearl Jam would win. After all, they used to be called 'Mookie Blaylock'. In an actual basketball competition they'd probably slay.

Yeah, but Nirvana has only 3 guys, and one's dead, so they've got defensive liabilities.

Also, Chris Cornell and Ben Shepherd are unreasonably huge guys too. If Cornell's got a low post game then maybe SG has a chance against PJ.

But then again...William Duvall is black.

Damn, this could be interesting.

Does Pat smear count on Nirvana's team? He is racially ambiguous enough to look like he would be good at basketball.

Well they'd need him. Especially since Kurt's on the injured/obituary list.

That made me LOL Sitar. Damn. Being in all these grunge threads is reminding me how much I loved the grunge movement as a whole.

Yeah, it pretty much destroyed preconceived notions of music for all-time. And yet, it was also heavily seeped in rock n' roll tradition. That's the great contradiction of grunge, specifically with regards to the Big 4.

I honestly don't think grunge was THAT revolutionary. It was kind of the hangover music to the party that was the Reagan era. The '90s were in a general a great time for music because grunge opened the door for oddball alternative bands who were truly revolutionary.

This is so good. Lighter than Dirt, but still holds that beautifully dark atmosphere. Absolutely love I Stay Away and Rotten Apple

I prefer this to dirt actually. "I Stay Away" and "Swing on This" are both wonderful.
