Q: Titanic Rising is brilliant - my AOTY so far. It actually reminds me quite a bit of Pure Comedy, which was my favorite record a few years back. Do you find Josh to be a big influence of yours or are we just hearing similar production from Rado?
A: I think we're all into the same kind of classic sound-- it took me a minute to hop on the FJM train, but when I heard one of his records for the first time I was pretty amazed. We all aspire for similar musical ends...I haven't tried to emulate Josh but I consider him a kindred SPIRIT.
