I don't recommend The Tatami Galaxy, but then again I only watched 2 episodes of it a while ago.

@J() Alexander: To be fair I see them both as one big show, comparing a full series to a movie makes no sense to me anyway.

True, and I've never watched eoe on its own. You can still judge them, and even individual episodes, separately though.

Comparing individual episodes makes more sense than to judge 26 episodes to a movie for me.

I've seen more women at a Devy concert than any other metal artist save for maybe TesseracT, so there's that.

I'm 99% sure Meridu's comment was bait, but I hope we can agree that those two arguments - "actual effort was put into this unlike stoopid radio Imagine Dragons music" and "women would cringe at this" - are invalid when trying to defend any kind of music.

But back to the album, I kind of wonder if Borderlands would've been a good single choice if it wasn't 11 minutes long. I couldn't get it out of my head when I first heard it.

Phil Collins is the man. Ugly bald dude who dominated the worlds of both progressive rock and mainstream pop. Who even has any hope of approaching a legacy like that?

Yeah. Devin merely wishes Empath exhibited the same musical prowess as the soundtrack to Tarzan.

Now I'm kind of hoping that Devy puts out a proper pop record for his next effort, a la what Steven Wilson tried to do...but even more pop.

Thanks Meridiu.

Addicted was still a metal album. I'm talking about a proper pop album.
