This one is going to need to grow for me, probably within the context of the album itself. It's the opposite of Twisted Tongues.

Crash Love was their last great lp (especially when you include the b-sides!). Missing Man was quite a comeback and I am thinking this will be an extension of that! Really pumped but keeping expectations tempered given that I wasn't very big on Blood, but liked the singles at first.

I like escape from la more than twisted tongues actually

Twisted Tongues is legit exciting, I hope they explore that vein more on the album. Some of the coolest instrumental parts this band has had in ages.

i also prefer Escape From LA tbh. fills me with that same warm nostalgia as Back Into The Sun albeit in a completely different way

I agree with that Grey. For some reason, Escape feels like the more upbeat cousin of Back Into The Sun.

this guys are super erratic when it comes to full albums but when the singles hit... my god man.

Damn, what a weird catch. Yeah, 3/11 bars light, nice call. They will never out do their STS album lead up. They did a good job with burials though as well.
