I really wanted to like this but it just isn't doing all that much for me :/

A Wasted Hymn rules so hell yeah @calmrose

Do the vocals remind anyone else of Chester Bennington, or is it just me?

I don't really think so, I can sort of see it on some of the more scream-singy passages but that wasn't what I thought of at first.

“gay” good point of view

Probably just cause I'm not too familiar with metalcore as a genre so I wouldn't really know any of the closer points of reference. But yeah the scream-singing and especially the more subdued cleans gave me some Linkin Park-ish vibes

The t/t is a banger, probably my favorite song off the LP.

generic metalcore choruses with generic metalcore clean singing are one of the worst things in current popular music.

@jmh886: from my experience, the "generic" cleans in core are usually the ones with the biggest "emo" tinge to them, so already disagreed.

like for example the guy who does cleans for Silent Planet
At least on the first album or two he sounded great, the more emotive style of delivery is something I want more of.

Anyone heard these guys cover Change (In the House of Flies)?
Pretty solid. Deftones version still reigns supreme though.

silent planet's choruses also suck. i like this guys voice better but they are just as bad in my opinion. it really keeps me from getting into these bands.

Silent Planet sucks in general. And I gotta hear this Deftones cover.

If Sam finds a way to sneak a "BLEGH" into the song I'm gonna throw my phone at the wall

Deftones cover is aight, does the song justice by not messing with it too much.. But their cover of Wait And Bleed is better imo.
And ye, not a fan of Silent Planet what so ever... Also, Architects previous two albums had pretty much no clean sung choruses so shouldn't be in the way of appreciating the band
