Upon another listen, I can see why the prog tag is used. There is some technicality buried beneath the wall of metallic and as I said, Garrett's vocal style is a little unorthodox. Guess my disappointment just got in the way.

I'd say they're just as good. Both of their new records were a disappointment but I think FFAK's one was better. Choosing between Deathgrip and EWS is hard though, but I think Deathgrip takes that one as well.

Wow I love this... Not as good as first album but way better than the last album. This is like a beautiful marriage of Oh, Sleeper and Underoath's Disambiguation. On track 10 right now and this shit is hitting the spot.
