I'd recommend going to Brutalism, in a lot of ways I prefer it but that might just be because I've had over a year with it

"that 'for a long old while I've known I'm scum' sounds like a typical Saintseneca melody. i doubt many people listened to both artists but i still wanted to point it out alright cya"

Dude you're not wrong

I don’t share this guy’s politics but this is a good example of how to write left wing anthems and actually be effective. It’s full of fun bangers, masculine energy, and is prole-friendly.

With the climate being as it is right now in the UK, I really needed a song like Great. Even looking past the politics I think this album has a pretty wide appeal.

Looked back in the thread to see people arguing about “toxic masculinity”. Ironically, if toxic masculinity is a real thing, this album is full of it and all the better for it.

I disagree with some of their politics and still enjoy this, so I'd agree that it's very accessible

it ~sounds~ good but a lot of what they are trying to convey is silly especially in the context of a punk sound, creates dissonance imo

usually lyrics dont mean much to me but the punk genre is generally an exception, lyric content is important
