When arson plays its role // there's an unarmed maniac to chase you home // it must be rendered sentimental

this is getting awfully close to a 5 for me. the individual performances of each member are superb. the drumming is top notch.

Took a month break from this and yeah they are still the best band ever. I thought Satellite Years was the Dark Side of The Moon of Post Hardcore but now this album needs a comparison that is also worthy.

The middle part of it took a while for me, I was consistently just enjoying the start and the end for a couple of weeks after release. Then I had like an epiphany moment with bradley fighting vehicle, cs lucky ones... then i catapult... and then the whole album was stellar.

I had a moment where I realized the reason I couldn't figure out my favorite song here for so long was this album was so overwhelmingly consistent, unlike anything I've heard this year. beautifully produced and executed so the nonsense lyrics don't matter.

Yeah, the lyrics are completely non-important for me (as long as they aren't outright shit) when the music and atmosphere are this good.

The lyrics fit the music. Jay's always been a bit of an enigma when it comes to that stuff tho. Magnetic north was on another level.

When I first listened to this, I was really not sure what to make of it.
It's not that the lyrics are total nonsense, it's more that I couldn't find anything I could relate with.

I was honestly hoping for this to be a record I'd be able to jam at my lowest point given Hopesfall's past. While I may have to focus on the atmosphere to do that, this is def better than I gave it credit for.

Hmm... This doesn't sound near as appealing as most of their previous work so far.
