the new one suffers from a complete lack of identity or cohesion, which under the circumstances is to be expected I guess

even if her brother's intentions were pure (presumably so considering) that doesn't mean they understand how to apply the source material, or have any of the artisitc vision of the initial creator

yeah new one feels rather hollow albeit still somewhat decent

really gets off on the wrong foot with the first 3-4 tracks which i think is a big part of the negative reaction

I am probably crazy but the whole album is very good. "Rawwwww" in particular, since we're talking about it, full of components that transcend their trappings because of, hmmm, vigor? Styling? The whole album has a sentimentality I find fetching. (To go on record in a comment section. Hey, fellas!)
