New one almost sounds too subdued at times, like I know they can't go crazy from start to finish but the noisy moments are sparse. This grew on me after several spins though, so we'll see. t/t seems interesting.

Def digging the new one on first spin, prob one of the best things to come out the last few songs. I actually like the slightly more subdued sound. I also like that the female vocals are a bit more prominent. I could see myself enjoying the new one more than this in time, though I’ll have to dig into the lyrics before I’m sure.

Yeah the new one is definitely decent, but still not completely sold on it. There’s nothing that hits quite as hard as ‘Tyres’ or ‘Soft Power’. Solid yet lacking in outstanding moments so far. Maybe a quiet grower...

Big fan of the looser musicianship in the new one, definitely a progression for the band and props for the increased backing vocals too. On first listen the album needs time for sure but it's probably just as good as this at least (consistency vs highligths relationship I'd say).
