I love ATF, I prefer it to this one (although it's still early to tell obviously), but this has some crazy songs as well. you could argue Cannibals goes harder than anything on ATF.

I think I prefer Converge when they try to experiment. Their metalcore stuff leaves a little to be desired.

First three AtF songs together are flawless, then it gets slightly hit and miss but damn I love it still

I wish they had included Eve on the album. I'll probably add it on my spotify version of the album regardless.
Album is gonna grow for sure. Digging that bass line in Trigger at the moment.

Cannibals is definitely not heavier then Axe To Fall's title track, sorry not even close really.

it's probably better tho. ATF doesn't do much for me nowadays outside of wretched world and dark horse

Damn Reptilian being a perfect closer because I have no idea how to somehow shoehorn Eve into the tracklisting now

eh you're probably right haha
it's scary how Ben still gets better with each album, the drumming is insaaane

i think i'm okay with Eve just being its own thing. it's still better than any track on the album, but trying to force it into the flow of the album proper wouldn't feel right

"Ben is easily the high point of this album."
I'd argue that the Ban-man is the highlight. Like others have said, this is his most versatile offering. Not saying Ben doesn't fucking slay as usual though

jacob has always been the least interesting part of converge

I would, Jacob is actually singing on Thousands of Miles Between Us. This is by far his most varied work.

Why does the "The world's a trigger seemingly without end, you have to bury the gun to finally make sense of it" part in "Trigger" sound somewhat nĂ¼-metal?
