alex hates artsy rap

This isn't bad by any means but this just sounds like Heems picked up a faster flow, dropped the weed jokes and pop sensibilities, and decided to make an album where he raps over random beats he found on 'lofi hip hop radio - beats to relax/study to'
Not to mention the over-arching concept/theme that is only present in the fact that you just kinda know it's there because the album is too serious/self-important to not have one

Well Alex likes brockhampton so i figured he'd like this as one of those "cool to like" rap acts
I've never heard it so idk if it's good or not

"Well Alex likes brockhampton so i figured he'd like this as one of those "cool to like" rap acts"
I like my fair share of hip(ster) hop, but I'm not too huge on the super ~intellectual~ acts that take themselves too seriously and don't know how to have at least a little bit of fun, and Brockhampton is not one of those acts

If you're gonna skip this, don't do it based on Alex's surface level and frankly inaccurate take (album does not take itself seriously, dude has lyrics referencing Harry Potter and Courage the Cowardly Dog ffs..., how in gods name you could consider most of the beats 'lo-fi')
