Don't worry man, I like it too.
This was one of the first albums I ever owned, I have a big soft spot for it. There isn't a song here I don't like. It's cheesy, but it all sounds good to me. Even In Between. Even No More Sorrow - don't really get the hate for that one.
Also The Little Things Give You away is one of the best LP songs. Maybe even *the* best one.

actually thought In Between was one of the least cheesy things on here. one dashboard confessional type song isn't as bad as most of the songs that sound neutered trying to go heavy.

gonna bump this up, some of the pop rock cuts are dec and it's not ok to have it on par with 1k suns

surprised to see some love for in between. always thought it was out of place here, but in retrospect this is basically a random collection of songs anyways.
oh yeah ats has always been my least favorite (until oml, that Is). always stroke me as self absorbed and overly ambituous = boring.

I'm okay with a thousand suns being on par with this. The pop rock tracks are decent on that too imo. And blackout's on it

A Thousand Suns is actually my favorite by them, but I feel like I have an extremely unconventional ranking anyway

Blackout is like the only good song on that one

A Thousand Suns is great though

I love every song except some of the interludes. Especially Burning in the Skies, Blackout, The Catalyst, Iridescent and Waiting for the End rule. Waiting for the End is actually my favorite LP song in general

can't stand blackout but burning in the skies is one of my favorite songs from them.
ats isn't terrible but it does nothing for me. second half of living things is better than the entirety of ats when it comes to their more experimental songs

In Between isn’t bad, but it’s kindof dull. I think Valentine’s Day is great, but I wish they had lost the words Valentine’s Day. It’s a bit cringe.

Leave Out All the Rest and Given Up are probably top 5 LP. Then you gave The Little Things, In Pieces, Shadow of the Day — album is stacked. My fav LP album some days (other days it’s HT or Meteora).
can't stand blackout but burning in the skies is one of my favorite songs from them.
What dude?! Blackout is fucking great. So is Burning. And Waiting for the End, The Catalyst, Iridescent, The Messenger — not their best, but great album nonetheless.

I love Mike's voice, but I definitely would have preferred No Roads Left. Have you guys heard the Final Masquerade Acoustic version they released for free?
|
| |
oh yeah, No Roads Left defs should have been on here, but instead of like Valentine's Day instead of In Between imo

I’ll check out that Final Masquerade acoustic version, fucking love that song. That, Keys to the Kingdom and A Line in the Sand are the top 3 off of THP.

I absolutely hated this record when it first came out. 2007 was a weird year.
The opening instrumental really does Mr. Hanh no favors, he can do better. Quite honestly it sucks.
'Hands Held High' and 'Valentine's Day' might be some of the worst songs by the band
