Mike Shinoda – keyboard, programming, rap vocals on track 2, lead vocals on tracks 5 and 7, creative direction, engineering, photography, production

Oh God, I thought he had a better taste as a "musical director" of the band, but nope, he thinks electroclash bullshit is awesome.

Almost, I think goldfrapp does that.

But at least they do it in the right way.

Album is absolute shit.

The Cornell tribute, however, was one of the best things they've ever done. Shame they couldn't put an ounce of that passion in this thing.

Also who the fuck produced this? Apparently they don't know how to make pitch correction subtle...

The album was self produced... which explains quite a lot

A few minutes ago I was reading some people who went to see Linkin park here in Argentina at the maximus fest, they were the headliners and he said that a lot of people started to leave the place in the middle of LP concert because they didn't play anything from their first albums, and that fest is like the equivalent of the Ozzfest, so yeah, they had a point.

People who approve this album are not LP fans, they are Katy Perry fans, SHAME ON YOU.

What really freaks me out though are the people who pretend like most of the songs on this album wouldn't fit right into Minutes To Midnight, good morning my dudes, LP have been playing this type of music since 2007 if not before. They even wanted METEORA to sound more mellow, so technically they have been into this shit since 2003, and if it's not obvious to you then you haven't been paying attention to the band. It's obviously not my #1 cup of tea, but i gotta rate this objectively, and if i start tapping my feet/whistling along to the songs, surprise, it's a successful pop album.

This shit is awful. And Chester's comments about how he wants to punch ppl in their fucking mouth doesn't necessarily help publicity. I guess he's taking a lot of inspiration from that "cash-me-outside" bitch lately.

Chester has always seemed like a humble dude, but his recent comments are just retarded.

that's true though, but I understand that lyrically this is their most personal record yet (for the whole band, not just for Chester) and the backlash it gets can be frustrating. Also, most people plainly insult the band and don't give a well build opinion, which can also be frustrating.
