I do find it a bit pretentious at times (I haven't read the lyrics though), but it flows impressively well, I find NeO's Portal of I to be less coherent than this TBH, transitions from heavy parts into atmospheric ones are well done.
Jac's def got a point about the clean singing, but there are plenty of bands that suck even more at it and it goes unnoticed.

I enjoy the clean vocals too. I do somewhat agree with the haters on the fact that it does lack some creativity from SM but I believe the progression of guitar work in Aathma is much better. Living Waves and Stillness is Timeless are excellent tracks. I would give Aathma a 4.8 out of 5 if sputnik would let me. Haha.

If this album would have something like the three last minutes of Majestic of Gaia or a Consciousness Part 2, it would have been perfect. Imo it's not better than Spiritual Migration, I would say almost equal
