I actually think track by track reviews can be enjoyable if done well, it can be nice to just get a description of what the songs sound like rather than a more general take on the album as a whole, and describing the specifics of each song makes it easier for people to jump in to the thread and start discussing things

I'm trying the new Sweet Trip (1st experience w/ band) and while I think the atmosphere is pretty, I'm not getting anything special from it. Seems like it's trying to be gorgeous, but it's not happening naturally, and it's all a little too pristine to the point of lacking much character? Maybe I'm way off, only about 25 mins in, just seems like a nice 3/3.5 or so. Probably needs more time.
