They wouldn't want to go back to that as much as In Flames don't want to do The Jester Race again. The difference is one of them still managed to create interesting modern albums.

The Mind's I is fantastic but is not better than the Gallery and all of the albums mentioned above. Zodijackyl Light, Hedon, Atom Heart 243.5, and The Mind's Eye, are all fantastic songs but I think this site gives it the appreciation it deserves, I haven't really seen anyone say it is a bad album.

This album certainly seems to have rather stable high and low points compared to other Dark Tranquility albums. I certainly like it way more than Battles, even if I prefer the high traditional metal influence of their early career albums.
