kinda see what you're saying johnny, maybe why I find this quite easy to dig relative to something like CI. I thought OOUITK was pretty boring though apart from Prancer. people shat on that song at the time for exactly what you describe but I love it and it could fit pretty well on this album

OP is still king

@johnny I'm right there with you. I wanted to 5 this bitch on day one but there are some parts of this album that are unfortunately just not that interesting.

The first half of Apologies Not Included is unforgivably boring. The song as a whole is just decent. And I really feel like they could've done more with the 2nd half of the title track. Greg's vox are great but the repetitious string melody does nothing for me. Nothing to Forget's chorus leaves something to be desired also.

I still view OOUITK as an improvement and refinement of everything they've done.

That's an interesting opinion. OOUITK is awesome, but I definitely put this, Miss Machine and Calculating above it.

yea i get that johnny. that's prob why tracks 5-7 are my fav on the album cause they remind me of old school Dillinger. they could've done a lot more with the last three tracks

I don't recall who was in here saying Cult Leader was bad, but they fucking murdered in SLC. Might have been the hometown crowd, but it was awesome and they sounded fantastic.

I really think the closing track here is a bookend to dillinger rather than the album. It may seem out of place but only because I think the intention here is to send it off with an intense sense of bleak sadness.

Saw dillinger last night, cult leader fucking stole the openers outright. They were incredible.

Shit was almost as rowdy as DEP's set.

Exactly my thoughts. Nothing to Forget kinda redeems itself in its finer sections though
