The guitar work in pretty much every BVB song is just downright gorgeous (bar the Sex and Hollywood EP, which is so badly produced that none of the cool shit is visible from it.)

I remember listening to Knives and Pens back when the music video came out and I liked it a fair bit, same with Perfect Weapon, but I didn't like the rest of the album when it released

Sweet Blasphemy, Carolyn, Beautiful Remains, Perfect Weapon, the title track, and The Mortician's Daughter are easily my favorites on here. I actually think Knives and Pens isn't one of the best tracks on here, even though I dig the hell out of it.

Well Snide, I'm sorry but I did listen to this and straight up hated it. It's extremely bland, the guitar parts are completely generic, the vocals are literally the same on each songs, the melodies are filled with sugar so they can attract the "generic goth-metal scene".



I don't understand why would anyone spend any time on this band when there's plenty of better metal albums out there.
