I've never once felt like there was any merit to the Mastodon comparisons
I can't even listen to this album because it sounds horrible
Everything this band does sounds better live with a completely open amp and
feedback filling the air

Only their EPs are Mastodon-esque, everything esse sounds really different. And your can't argue with one or two riffs, otherwise everything would sound like Metallica (Megalodon *cough*)
