I still listen to Coal pretty frequently but this just hasn't clicked at all. Nothing really captivating about it.

consistent discography...memorable live...falling in love with this band more and more over time. Coal is better than this but plenty still to enjoy here

Yeh I saw them the other day. Extremely tight. They played like 9 songs from this album which is kinda dissapointing but there is something about these tracks that fit so perfectly live. The climax on The Flood was fucking sick. They played Forced Entry for encore so I'm happy bout' that.

They bring the intensity live. 9 tracks from this is a lot, but they apparently don't feel very connected with their older albums so i guess they don't want to perform those songs, which sucks

I can only take this band in small doses, it seems. Good stuff, I just get real tired of the vocals.

That's understandable, I guess. He is an amazing vocalist though, although his high tones are kinda exhausting on here.

This is so subdued compared to the rest of the discog.. Compare any track from this to the weakest tracks from Bilateral and none of them even come close. There's no.... soul anymore.

I wouldn't say there's no soul, but it's definitely more restrained than earlier Leprous albums, which kind of sucks because that's what I love about the band. But it's still a good album. I have a feeling they're going to be more conservative in the future

I can see why people find the departure from their previous stylistic choices a bit disappointing but I love how cohesive this album is and it really is a grower. It really didn't stick with me at first but I feel like I discover something new every time I listen to it.
