I'll have to give it another spin through. One of my big problems was that there seemed to be no cohesiveness between songs. Each song just kinda ends. Most of the CD seems like a collection of ideas rather than complete songs. After hearing Mikasa I expected a lot more memorable moments :/

I thought this was average. The songs were ok I guess, but horribly directionless overall. Not much replay value either. New BOO is a lot more fun than this.

yeah this band is pretty hit or miss honestly. CMC was amazing. Eclipse was a step in the right direction. Everything else though....meh.

Common Man's Collapse was really the only album I thoroughly enjoyed by these guys. [id] had a few good moments but I didn't really care about Eclipse.

Well in my opinion this is a huge downgrade to what vom used to be. Here are some things that I don't like
1. The lead vocalist- this guy is just some random dude that got picked up by the agency and has little to no experience with being in a professional band (his earlier samples can prove this). He decides to implement clean vocals to the music, which tarnished the bands name, making them turn into more of a progressive metalcore band now. This guys sounds like complete shit live and he can't sing or scream anything without taking a 1 second inhale.
2. The rest of the band- The rest are still in their prime and can play pretty damn good. However, there is one issue with this. When I first listened to the album it sounded like I was listening to periphery. If you listen to them back to back, there is almost no difference, so just when u thought they tried to copy meshuggah or the faceless (which they didn't), just listen to this shit, it's like veil of periphery, they should change their name to that. This is what happens when you have people like spencer sotelo and that fag from first to last produce ur music.
3. Ways to improve:
-cut the vocalist (get brandon back)
-get rid of the shitty producers and get Michael or even misha on
-stop being mainstream cucks and do it for the true fans, not the fucking feminine emo cock jockeys.
