I prefer this to Biophilia. And it's def. not a 2.5 Gyro.

(Hey, pst, praise the Sun).

Haha, I think Biophilia's corny. Sounds too much like educational music for primary schoolers. I like a number of tracks off of it, but things like "Thunderbolt" and "Hollow" only have a "ah, interesting..." novelty to them that wears off pretty quickly.

Woah, she hasn't been this prolific since the 90's. Roughly 2 years between albums is pretty good, especially since she's done a fuckton besides making new music recently.

most popular musicians of any genre aren't as driven and passionate as bjork tho, and it's their job

I really need to check Bjork's post-Vespertine material.

it's not super essential imo, if u love bjork herself and just because of the immense quality of her work then u'll be into it, but it's not on the level as her previous work (for most people, at least)

biophilia is the best of her later work, i love this more but most people don't agree that this is good

This has the highest average post-Vespertine, so clearly some people must agree with you.

I'm not expecting to love all her stuff as much as Homogenic (which I 5'd after about 3 listens) but all of her first 4 are at least 4/5 to me, so I think her later stuff is at least worth checking out to see what I think.

Medúlla has a few tracks that aren't much more than interesting, but it's a very interesting project, overall, and with a few tracks that are quite thrilling.

Volta is stylistically all over the place (and not really in a good way when it comes to the constant abrupt changes that happen), but some of her best songs, easily, are on that one.

Biophilia is (see comment above)

Vulnicura is essential, imo. It's Björk at her best since Vespertine.

generally not a good idea sharing personal info on here, but having seen a divorce closely, i can vividly remember and relate to every stage shown here

Post Vespertine is just about few tracks here and there. This might be my fav. album of all that post vesp material.

She continues her way in making every album one of a kind, that's why I think all of them are worth checking out. There's always something on there that you haven't heard from her before.

Biophilia is the best imo, with this just behind

Oh, and check Selmasongs, definitely
