I don't see how P3 was an "embarrassment". "The Price is Wrong" and "Motormouth" are not their best songs but there are so many incredible moments on that album.

Yeah the lyrics on those particular songs are some of the worst I've heard from them, but despite that it's a good album.

I would like this band a lot more with a better vocalist. Maybe I'd be a fan, cause the instrumentation is often pretty good. Also I'm not too crazy about their production

I think Spencer gets better and better, although I will say that I think he does better when he's reigned in a bit (at least lyrically). The dude has an incredible range though.

Priestess is a prime example of why this band is flawed to me. The acoustic part in the beginning is beautiful, but Holcomb rushes through these chord shapes and just doesn't allow the music to breathe. They really should flesh out moments like this and make them something special instead of throwing the next thing in.
