Marriage is mesmerizing. Goddammit so many good albums from this band.

This was so close to a 4.5 on first listen, which I barely ever do nowadays. A good part of this albums's whole second half drags [2] though....

Coal black, turbulence holes of bass drones

But otherwise empty

No planets, no meteorites

If anything, fine dust clouds of exploded music.

Well fucking done Garm.

Been jamming this a lot recently. Honestly I think I like this album more than Messe, maybe even more than Bergtatt too.

Still haven't heard Messe. This is pretty fantastic though

Messe is awesome too. I hope Garm is gearing up for a new album soon.

I definitely don't like this more than Bergtatt, but I do have a hard time deciding whether this is second or Shadows of the Sun.

Yeah Messe is amazing, I've been digging that for some time now, really interesting record.

They uploaded a new photo on their facebook page a while back, so it might be the artwork for the new album actually.

Ofcourse I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the actual artwork for the new album ( if they have any ).

This is excellent, but the second half does drag. I don't have that issue with Blood Inside, Shadows, or even Messe.

Blood Inside and Wars of the Roses are too short to be able to drag, Shadows is their only post-trilogie album that has no issues with pacing or length for me.

I actually prefer shorter albums sometimes. Quality over quantity.

If you don't skip Stone Angels, Wars of the Roses drags like hell.

Wars of the Roses could be a great EP without Stone Angels, which I never really listen to because of the voiceover, but those first six songs are great. [2]
