thats kind of besides the point

when i listen to this on my studio monitors i hear lots of "popping/crackling" (clipping) and its really distracting

v upsetting cause flylo is one of my fav artists and his last 3 were all close to my aoty for their respective years, havent listened to this in a while tho

i dunno bout that

like theres a clear difference between the static and crackling u hear on burial EPs, and the clipping that i hear on this

you might not know about it, but that would make you wrong and retarded! look at his progression. this is his tongue and cheek follow up to his most retrospective album ever following an album that details his mothers death. this is his answer to modern internet culture wherein louder is more better. just drag any of these songs into audacity and look at the songs... shit is cap'd out beyond oblivion. its a critique on modern popular music and culture and its brilliant. im sorry that its too deep for some feeble minded fools but thats your own loss.

the mix is good, just feels a bit compressed, intentional or not.

Becoming the thing that you're criticizing is a problem too though.

if it is intentional it works since I fucking love how loud and disjointed some of the samples sound, it's crazy and abrasive but done a hell of a lot better than on cosmogramma
