'for me like if they arent up for a new album id rather them not put out a half assed one anyway '
That's how I felt too until I saw them in full beast mode playing a new song. I know it's selfish to want more from these guys, but god damn I neeeeeed it.

honestly i don't need a new full length album trying to outdo this, pizza ep was garbage compared to this and I still love it.
Just give me another fun ep and I'm good for a while

I forgot to mention, previously, that ed edge was wearing very tight, short shorts and he is indeed 'BIG'

They were even better this time than they were the first time I saw them.

agreed, the first time I saw then, the day aFter this album was released, they seemed pretty fucking jaded. seemed annoyed by the crowd.
this time they were all smiling and dancing and Nathan was interacting with the pit, instigating an already hyped audience.
The fact that none of them stayed in the green room speaks volumes. During the opening band they were all just hanging out drinking and taking with people. Last time they came thru I didn't see them at all before or after the set

@deathschool me and dbizzles were getting lonely, any highlights from the show? For me it was when some dude climbed on stage mid song and stated tapping band members on the shoulder trying to talk in their ear. The music stopped and Nathan said "hey drunk guy, you realized you just fucked up the ENTIRE set, right?" and he walked off stage with his head down, in regret.
then eric came in with the keys and the rest of the band joined in like nothing happened and everyone started dancing, it was magical. fucking pros

They killed. My cousin got kicked out of the show for nothing about midway, but had the time of his life and ended up on stage for a few seconds. Nate stole and wore my hat for a song (Raiders, represent) and I got finger-wigglies (don't know what else to call them) from Erik when they came back on for the encore. The bruises just cleared up from my knees/thighs pressing up against the stage. One of the best shows of my life, no joke.

I still haven't seen Converge and I've been listening to them for well over 10 years. I don't know who that is the case and it needs to change asap. I'm glad they aren't one of those bands that got old and sucks.

thankfully converge seem to tour almost constantly so seeing them isn't bound to be a rarity
unlike A CERTAIN BAND

True, but it seems like they just play a lot of festivals unless they're touring in support of an album. There are no good festivals that come to Utah.

very true, only reason they're playing in calgary this year is for the sled island festival. I'm just glad they found an excuse

I'm gonna try to cross them off my list within the next year or too for sure. I wouldn't mind traveling to see them.

If you guys want a better quality version of the new song, there's a live stream on their Facebook feed of a recent show, New song is the second one they play

and by better quality, I mean different kind of shitty. Was it an artistic decision to put the mic directly below the high hat?
