this album is pretty good, but admittedly simplified compared to the absolute genius of resignation through mandala.
Why are the cymbals so quiet though? that's actually my biggest pet peeve. If the mixing on the drums was more even instead of strictly percussive, then I'd be getting more energy out of these songs. Like the demo version of "stargazer" (ready eddie) was hype as fuck, but the album version lacks the edge simply cause of the cymbals being too low in the mix.
