no i mean fans of 90s emo generally love clarity too so i don't think those people are ignoring this simply because they're assuming it's 'polished alt rock' (and to be fair, this is still alt rock albeit not very polished)

And JEW does what they do quite will, and sometimes stunningly so, hence futures and some other select tracks from later albums. Other than their debut and Damage, none of their albums are bad.

Tbh you may actually like it, but it's just straight raw, juvenile shit lol but I have the added nostalgia factor for this band so I prob like their non Clarity/Futures/IB albums more than I would if I started listening just a year ago. It's ok though, not complaining xD

alt cover is great, og cover is trash. and I think jimmy fans would like it more if it were more consistent sounding. sounds just kinda like they made an album of what they had and released it. which is cool but I think there's a few songs that are definitely out of place
