Marrow rules yeah. Little bit of a grower though.

i hated marrow at first but now i love it, took me a while to grow on me but if you really sit down and focus on the emotions it has the potential to hit you much sooner
Same. I should bump my rating for it.
I realized how much more I like it after seeing them again.
Songs off this just don't hit as hard.

I've listened to this quite a lot and I think it's still growing on me.
Enjoy the last part. The final track is my favourite on the album.

Yeah! That was a solid review and I really liked the s/t. This new one though... it surpasses it. In my opinion anyway.

The neofolk side is definitely there, but I think when the violin and cello really come together (see Arcanum), they hit hard and almost manage to capture a metal atmosphere.

It's killer. It's definitely epic chamber folk first and foremost, but these guys have ties to metal and I think it really shows in places.

"I personally see metal music as having more to do with emotional content than distorted guitars. I feel a single nylon string guitar can have the same emotional intensity as a wall of distortion."
from an interview with nathanael.
