these guys have kind of been my favorite band since this came out. i loved them before too, but nailing such a consistent vision for what they want to say and such a high standard of quality for four straight full-lengths is really impressive. everything they do feels intentional and sure-footed.

i guess i just mean to say that as their discography expands, the level of attention and care they put into every aspect of their music just comes into sharper and sharper focus. i have a deep respect for bands that seem to care about what they do and genuinely take music seriously without even a hint of pretentiousness.
