I can always check it. People have been hyping Kill la Kill and I have it ready to watch.
The only thing in recent memory that I tried that I really hated was Attack on Titan. Maybe my idea of anime serious in tone is different from everyone else, but holy hell nothing about it was likable. Not the aesthetic, the execution, the characterization.
