This album is completely inconsistent with any theme and really all over the place. The references to the first one I enjoy but some of the songs (Stronger Than I Was) I believe he's trying to be diverse in areas that don't work at all for him. Rap God however I believe is quite possibly one of the best songs he's ever done. Song is freaking beast. Album as a whole though is meh.

Really liking Legacy and Groundhog Day. Bad Guy is pretty cool too.

@LambsBread no this isn't an alt account I just discovered this site in December.

How can you call an album superb when the only positive thing about it is its lyrics? Artists will continue to release lackluster projects like this if they know skimp out on major parts of the album and still sell albums.

Hooks and production are a major part of hip-hop. The fact that Eminem, a guy touted as a "god of hip-hop" cannot come up with a halfway decent hook or select a beat that sounds like actual effort was put into is unacceptable. He likes picking beats that are easy to rap to, making his "lyrical prowess" an illusion.

I bring up underground hip-hop because it shows how low the bar has been set for mainstream hip-hop. Where's the creativity? Yes, Eminem can spit but that is nothing new, and just simply being able to spit doesn't constitute a good hip-hop artist anymore.

Honestly, I'm just fucking around and just disdain Eminem. If you like him that's cool.

It's miles ahead of Recovery. 3.2 is accurate enough, but Recovery should be like a 2.6, Relapse should be a 1.9 and Encore should be a 2.1

My life would be so much better if you'd just drop dead! I was laying in bed last night thinking
and this song just popped into my head. And I thought, wouldn't shit just be a lot easier if you
dropped dead? I would feel so much better.
