MC. MC is the original abbreviation and it's still used because it's the same sound, that's where "emcee" even came from.
Hip hop was only instrumental for a VERY brief period after Kool Herc, even he added lyrics actually. Point is quite irrelevant but ok.
Not of that changes the fact that production/beats are and have always been an integral part of Hip-hop, emceeing (there, happy?) is important as well but why do you think there are such things as "Instrumental hip-hop"?
And it's relevant because you keep thinking anyone who cares about beats "doesn't understand hip-hop" and whatnot

the beats are terrible the choruses are downright awful don't dig the production he might not have
abysmal lyrics like he did in relapse and encore, but they aren't clever or remotely interesting. they
just look like absolute nonsense, saying shit for the sake of saying so.

Nah this is by far as deep as any eminem album chipmunk, the choruses do suck, the beats are pretty solid ( rhyme and reason is one of the slickest samples I've ever heard)
