Yeah even that one (Deadwing) has its moments, it’s still my most disliked though it’s just too bloody clinical and AOR.

Deadwing is good, but a bit too much of a snoozer sometimes. FoaBP rips it apart

FoaBP is the most overrated album ever.

Bought the CD for this yesterday.

Artwork that looks enigmatic if you’re a 14 year old ✅

Photo of Wilson looking but not quite managing to be cool ✅

Photo of Wilson looking like a complete and utter goit ✅

Photo of at least one band member with absolutely shit hair ✅

Ridiculous spaces between words in the printed lyrics ✅

Sense of longing to have had this/heard this when it came out ✅

Quality all round.

Sort-of - think I got into PT when I was 13ish, definitely remember this album from around then

Can't imagine getting into Wilson's lyrics from a young age though - imagine hearing the Sleep of No Dreaming as a 5 yr old!

Just wondering.

I would find this really hard to get into at 12-13yr old specifically looking back at how I was then.

I would’ve seen it as too ‘try-hard’ and superficial. I fucking love it now though so horses for courses I suppose

I was very try-hard and superficial, so that squares up lol. This is matches up well with a Floyd phase though

True. I also thought they were complete bollocks when I was younger as well. Didn’t get into Floyd until my early to mid 20s.

Anyway, Dark Matter on this thing is colossal.

The whole thing is kinda colossal. Borderline chilling at many points too. The bass on this is just killer.

Yeah radioactive toy is a belter.

The album it’s from is a bit ropey though.

On the Sunday of Life is underrated. I mean there's a lot of bullshit on there, but the longer songs and Nine Cats rule - Wilson could've made an excellent 45 minute album out of it.
