Gotta say this might be the best or one of the best Arcade Fire albums. It's like they took electronic influences, 80s influences and

their indie sound from the past few albums and made an extremely interesting listen.

There are a ton of great instrument parts in the album too. We Exist's, baseline is killer. Love the guitar riff in Normal Person.

I'm still digesting the album but it's really well done. It's also awesome it's a double album

Their best album since Funeral, without a doubt. It also does not feel like a double album. Hardly lag throughout the

album, constantly moving and changing tempos.

The basslines are great on this and there are some really cool ideas, but the drums are so boring. Maybe it will grow on me with some more listens, but those 80's influences really aren't doing it for me right now.

gonna try that Disc 2 then 1 approach tonight.

first impression was good. I agree with the comments I've seen saying Regine should sing lead more. that was a missed opportunity cos she nailed it on Sprawl 2.

I agree that it would have been great to hear her sing lead vocals, but she absolutely nails all her vocal parts. Her vox in It's Never Over (omg) Normal Person and Reflektor are amazing.

@Isitluck agreed, It's Never Over might be their crowning achievement.

Both discs rule and this is undoubtedly their best work since funeral (in my opinion, better)

Contrary to most people on here though, I actually prefer disc one.
