And honestly Miss Murder is like the worst track on DU along with whatever the hell Prelude 12/21 was trying to be. The rest is what solidifies it as one of my favorite albums

You're absolutely right. I meant pre-Black Sails. All of their albums after AoD have a lot more texture and depth. More reasons for multiple listens, IMO. Black Sails and AoD are fun, high energy albums though.

I can't get into pre-Black Sails either. Shut Your Mouth is cool, and has some great tracks (Triple Zero, Patron Saints, Third Season, A Single Second) but yeah, overall not my thing. The Secret Ninja and Love Is A Many Splendorous Thing are the only other tracks I really like from pre Shut Your Mouth.

FadedSun I'm with you. Black Sails is fun, All Hollows is killer fun, AoD is fun with a little bit of depth added, StS and DU is their evolution and imo peak, CL and Burials were coasting but still good albums.

I didn't dig The Art of Drowning at all.

In the teaser, there was a scream so I'm assuming it will be something like Kill Caustic or Death of Seasons which is cool in my book. I still kinda just want them to give up the hardcore in favor of something more like Crash Love but that's probably just me. Hope this is good
