easily her most accessible, everything after got a bit too dense for me, havent even checked Birth of Violence

Well that one you definitely should cause it traces back to this in a way.
But yeah in retrospective the heavy alt doom of Hiss Spun doesn't fit her as well as this more etherogothic vibe or whatever this is.

What did you think of Diana Dewi?
I thought it was a pretty solid mix of this and her more metal stuff. One of my favorite tracks of hers tbh

"They’ll Clap When You’re Gone" is something alright. I'm liking this one. Starting to sizzle.

The build-up kicking in with the drums in "Reins" crushes me each time. Triggers massive sense of helplessness.

Sick thru Reins will probably always be her best run

I love Diana man. That fucking comic book soundtrack really does have some bangers. Jerry Cantrell and Greg Puciato both put out some very solid singles for it too but Diana is my favorite of them.

Been binging CW for the last week having only taken a passing interest before then. This album is easily my favourite. Current thoughts are:
Pain is Beauty - Apokalypsis - Birth of Violence - Hiss Spun - Abyss - She Reaches Out - The Grime and the Glow

We Hit a Wall is hitting hard right about now
I love this album so much. It’s weird. I first started getting into her right around when Abyss dropped and really started paying attention when Hiss Spun came out, and that was my favorite for years. It being her “metal” record really helped, but as life has gone on this has really grown on me so much. I think either this or Abyss are my favorite but I’m leaning toward this.

I’ve just listened to the album in full walking the dog and yes, we hit the wall really does the job. What a song

I should 5 this really, it’s flawless even if The Warden feels a little out of step with the rest of the album I still enjoy it
