In the process of writing my review for this. Lowered my rating after listening again. It's a shame.

I really don't understand the negative reception to this. I find this to be far more interesting to listen to than anything they've written previously. Then again, I do tend to prefer music that is a bit irregular, even jarring. Keeps it from getting stale for me.

I couldn't think of a better word. Just kind of that moment where you stop and go "woah, what was that?"
Also, the "you're new to me" bit in "Sky Machines" is probably my favorite moment in any of their songs, particularly the second time it comes around.

I love the "I'm dying to know" part. Whole song is amazing.

Yeah that whole section is just killer; a highlight of a track that's a highlight in and of itself.

I was listening to Schism today and thought that maybe A.M. War was trying to achieve a similar effect to that song, like the urgency of the "I know the pieces fit/We gotta get out of the way" build-ups
Except that A.M. War didn't really work
