Production certainly isn't as dynamic as Sound Awake for sure.
I do feel that the band makes up for that with the experimentation, but again with a lot going on instrumentally the production doesn't compliment the music too well.

It's a lot more dynamic, it's just that there's no space and all of the instruments are just fighting for space in the mid range. It's really frustrating, because you want to zero in on an interesting part but it's just too claustrophobic and cluttered

Guess I'm in the minority of not having a problem with it haha. Rishloo is one of my favorite bands so
production isn't usually that big of a problem with me. I get it though. Just seems like everyone is
being so scathing about it.
