I can't remember how my liking process went, but I surely learned about Tool first, Opeth and then PT. Rishloo is also one of the best currently, waiting for their new album.

After getting introduced to classic prog by my parents I got into DT, then Nightwish (somehow), then Tool, then PT, then Opeth and then most bands of the kscope label and friends

My first PT album was Recordings though, I probably dug the cover or something

Aqualung was the first record I ever bought with my own money, and I spent spent weeks learning the tracks on my homemade drum kit with footballs, basketballs, and coffee cans.

My drum kit consists of books, notebooks, pencilcases, the lamp and pens as drumsticks.
