3,5 it, man.

pink rabbits, this is the last time, i need my girl, heavenfaced (to some extent) are all good songs, the title track is painfully average. Demons is okay but it's like Bloodbuzz Ohio on the previous album. Good, but not a masterpiece.

Still underwhelmed by this album. It's way more "hookless" than previous ones. Just try to compare how many hooks do you remember from High Violet and how many hooks do you remember from this album.

having rating anxiety about this idk i hope the slower tracks and the ones toward the beginning grow on me bcuz i feel weird giving a "positive" rating to an album where i dont care about like a quarter of the tracks



i like the production on this a lot tho, the sort of subdued style

epitomizes the best of this album for me

it definitely has its moments

humiliation hasn't really stood out to me at all but then again I'm only now beginning to think of the album's standalone tracks as particular pieces rather than just considering it on the whole

the more i think about it the more solidly this is a 3.5 we did it guys



toward the end i think this becomes an awesome insular (headphones maybe?) album and humiliation is a

huge part of that. just these really nice chords and everything meshing into this one engine of sound.

i totally see the tv on the radio. like "love dog" or "family tree" (ok i only listen to dear science

eff you) where it all meshes into this sort of ethereal rock stuff. and the ending where they suddenly

change up the chords is gorgeous
