We really don't need .1 increments. Some of you might want them but everything has been just fine for years on .5 increments.

I wouldn't use them outside of review scores

Yeah you're right but that hasn't stopped them from overreacting before (see: user "abuse" of a loophole means we'll never get 0.1 ratings). Though to be fair, I have a hunch MX never wanted to implement 0.1 ratings for users anyways (there's no real benefit to him in terms of user traffic and it probably hurts him financially because bigger serverload = more money for servers) and now he has a (bad) excuse why.



I think you guys are right about rating 0.5 though. And even if they didn't approve (srsly tho, just fix your lazy coding then) they can delete individual ratings so

I mean what the hell is the difference between a 3.6 and 3.7? Hmmmmm. I could see .25 being useful for those many albums I think are in between a 3.5 and 4 or 4 and 4.5 etc. But I cant be fucked to rate with .1 increments it just seems so stupid.
