yeah man i didn't just play mario and zelda but that's what i grew up with. i would always go to my friends house to play crash bandicoot though. and agreed about final fantasy those games rule although i'm not a fan of the newer ones.

The card game honestly sucks, maybe because I played Yugioh and MTG for a while.
@Atari, yeah I gotcha. I wish I got into Zelda as a kid but literally all my neighbors also had PS1s, so we used to just play Crash games all the time.
As far as the newer FFs go, I can see where you're coming from, but for me X was just as great as the older ones so really it's only been two (haven't played 13-2) meh titles.

i played pokemon in the 5th grade on my gameboy and thought it was a blast but for some reason haven't played it in YEARS.
@toxin.
i actually dug final fantasy X the graphics were amazing for the ps2 and the gameplay was solid. however i have finaly fantasy 12 or 13 on ps3 and i got bored with it pretty quickly.

dang Atari which Pokemon game was out in 5th grade? I'm 19 and still love it but I think it was a
bigger factor in my life growing up than for you so idk if it'd still hold up for you.
And yeah it had a great story too, even if the voice acting was shaky. 12 was boring (never finished)
and 13 had a dynamite battle system (and not much else). The other FF game (not 15) which is made by
the same team that's making KH3 should be really good though

i think it was the blue or red version for the gameboy that came out in 1999. just looked on amazon and one of them is going for like $800 lol and yeah i'm like 10 years older than you ;)

@rosa I feel ya, I picked a PS3 and only got a DS Lite in 2011 for my 17th bday from friends. I logged in 165 hours on Heart Gold in about 4 months, that's actually sort of sad but w/e.
lol Atari I got Blue when I was 4 so you must've been 12, so 7th grade? That's so weird, did everyone in your grade level play Pokemon or was it seen as juvenile? I know in middle school I was too cool for Pokemon (lol)
