This could have been better. WAY better. Its still a fun album though but it doesn't top Discoveries.

It's boring as fuck, hardly anything new. Discoveries was written on guitar pro, I think that says something about this band. Well that they aren't very good at writing as a band, and aren't inspired enough because of how stale their genre is that they don't motivate themselves to really rise above the rest. This album is just riddled with boring as fuck breakdowns, no real riffs, and no real emotion.

IDK my one friend writes some of the most badass metal on guitar pro.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. When you don't have a band you can really show your true potential as a songwriter programs like guitar pro makes it easier.

Oh I thought you meant it in a sense of like, not writing together in a live environment is bad or something.

Oh no, I think writing as a band is awesome, that's how it should be if possible. The bands that I could do that with the songs turned out great. But with metalcore these days bands make it look hard to write a good song. And with this album I don't see any real songwriting, there's nothing to take from any of these songs, it's sloppy. I almost see it in that Discoveries was as good as it was because the songs were created with guitar pro. And this album almost disproves their credibility as a band, like they were just really capable of playing the parts because they're technically proficient.

There's no real songwriting? Wow, Adrian writes some powerful, emotional lyrics.

Oh dear piano player

Can't you just play that tune for us one more time?

Can't you just pull your shit together just one more time?

Then we could dance this horrible night away

and we'll keep the rhythm of this song

With the motions of our hands on each other's bodies

and the way our lips will move saying sweet nothings

The straight black and white feeling has faded into a burning shade of gray

Man such incredible songwriting.
