out of all the thrash bands I feel like Slayer should have made a pretty clean transition to nu-metal. They fumbled it so bad, I guess it was just forced at the end of the day

This is definitely NOT their worst album. It’s still not very good, but some songs hit the groove metal itch.

It's pretty rough. Maybe World Painted Blood is worse but I hate this album

God Hates Us All and Repentless are both worse.
