Nah, I've just felt for a long time that this album actually had the potential to be their best, it was just held back by bad/bizarre sequencing. I'll see if I can find the ideal one

Like I said up there, it could've been but it was not to be

New one is a lot of filler and a little killer

Thats the band in a nutshell

Really do like it though. A lot better than I was expecting.

It's better than the last two I'll give it that but it doesn't touch anything pre-DE with a ten-foot stick

Reworked a tad:

1. Hexagram

2. Anniversary

3. Good Morning Beautiful

4. Battle-Axe

5. Needles and Pins

6. When Girls Telephone Boys

7. Minerva

8. Moana

9. Lucky You

10. Bloody Cape

11. Lovers

12. Deathblow

think this is what I'll go with from now on

Anniversary that early is a really interesting choice, but it could work. I have to try it out later

I find Hexa flows really well into Anniversary they have a similar-sounding feedback at the end. Also fast and heavy into slow and soft generally works great for Tones (see Feiti/Digital Bath)

Deathblow would be like ultimate closer

Minerva feels too late and Bloody Cape, Moana and Battle Axe feel a bit out of place. Other than that, seems interesting. Will try and tweak eventually. Deathblow as a closer would be incredible.

Minerva/Moana actually sound like they were written to be back-to-back imo, no idea why they separated them

Bloody Cape could definitely flow a little better but I'm not sure where its ideal spot would be

This album really needed a couple songs that were just a little more varied sound wise. It's really it's only flaw imo. I think that is part of the reason why it's so hard to make a tracklist also.

@Rowan Tbh worked pretty well. My only real issue had to do with the placement of Anniversary, funny enough.

I feel like switching Anniversary and Hexagram is more of a steady incline rather than going from one of the heaviest tracks to the softest as the opening 1-2 punch, which was a little jarring.

Minerva is one of the best things they've ever done.
