This album hits pretty hard. I personally love Thrift Shop, not only because it's as catchy as heeee'll but like the majority of Macklemore's material there is a overarching theme he is against - materialism. I love the energy and positivity of the song that just seems to be lacking in the rest of the album. Despite this, tunes like Same Love are pioneering against homophobia, striving for equality. This is unheard of in HipHop. Mack & Ryan Lewis have struck a chord on this one. In all, a pretty fantastic record.

I can't remember this album is actually worth listening to.
Thrift Shop is kinda cool, but that beat pisses me off so much.

thrift shop blows
is that enough to warrant a 1.5
|
| |
no
but if you consider that all songs on here are by macklemore a 1.5 is spot on

especially when nobody has actually checked out his solo work which is far superior

But Ryan Lewis is the best reason to listen to him
